Beach of Dreams offers a creative way to respond to the Climate Emergency.

We are inviting people to walk together along the coastline of the UK and Ireland in a collective moment of reflection and action in the month of May 2025. It is an opportunity both to act locally and to be a part of a spectacular international movement, that re-imagines our future inspiring positive climate action.

Beach of Dreams began in July 2021 as a 500-mile creative walk from Lowestoft to Tilbury. The project was initiated by Kinetika, led by artistic director, Ali Pretty in partnership with Rosa Productions.

In 2023 Kinetika and Rosa Productions were commissioned by Morecambe Bay Partnership to create ‘Bay Lines’ – Beach of Dreams.

We’re launching Beach of Dreams 2025 at Essex Book Festival on 1 June 2024 with a procession in Colchester. Be a part of the procession, sign up to hold one of our Beach of Dreams pennants in the parade.
